The first of our eating out reviews involved a visit to the Robin Hood and Little John on the A15 at Aslackby (pronounced Hazelby but that’s Lincolnshire for you).  The imposing building is clearly from the age of coaching inns but was refurbished last year by the current owners and brought bang up to date.

The Raven, film trailer

I read some of Edgar Allen Poe's stories when I was younger and it came as a surprise when researching this film that he was american.  His stories of mystery and the macabre have been used as the basis for a film that based on this fast paced trailer may prove to live up to the author's standards, or maybe all the best bits are here in the trailer?

Film trailer - five year engagment

Meet Glynne James -artist and more

Its around 20 years since my wife and I bought paintings by Glynne James one of the resident artists at Arts Coritani Gallery in Swineshead.  Rosi and Col Campbell at the gallery emphasise the high quality of the resident artists and deservedly heap praise on Glynne for the detail and style of his paintings.
